Observation Point Shuttle
Observation Point | Zion National Park Shuttle
The East Mesa Trail System is a hidden gem, and perfect for guests lodging in the East Zion area. Take our shuttle from Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort to the East Mesa or Stave Springs areas to access either the Observation Point or Cable Mountain trails. No need to worry about parking or damaging the precious landscape with your vehicle; we'll get you within half a mile of the East Mesa trailhead!
Zion National Park is 30 miles in length and 15 miles across at its widest point, and Observation Point, at an elevation of 6,521′, is likely the best place to capture the grandeur of this vast expanse.
Note:
- This shuttle drops off and picks up about .5 miles from the trailhead.
- Each party will book a departing time. Return shuttle picks up at the drop-off point every 15 and 45 of the hour.
- We do not guide these hikes; we only provide transportation from Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort to the Observation Point/East Mesa Trailhead and back, and the Stave Springs/Cable Mountain Trailhead and back.
- Much of these trails are not shaded, so make sure you have plenty of water. It is about 8 miles round trip for Observation Point, and about 8 miles round trip for Cable Mountain.
- Parking at these trailheads is extremely limited and often not available. This shuttle assists in preserving the land by preventing vehicles from parking in unauthorized areas that disrupt the land.
- Parking at Zion Ponderosa is free for those using the Observation Point shuttle.
