This is a 2 day, 1 night cowboy camp experience.
Meet with us the evening prior to ride day for a meet and greet with the wranglers, get some rest, then meet the shuttle in the morning to kick off the adventure. We’ll ride, and then shuttle back to Kanab for a final dinner before we part ways. Any additional nights or activities you wish to pursue will be your responsibility.
- Be aware that the date you book, is the date the meet-and-greet takes place (evening). Hotel stay for that night is NOT included.
Follow in the tracks of the settlers, cowboys, pioneers and outlaws of Southern Utah as we adventure down the Historic Paria River trail. Your experienced wranglers for this trip are real life cowboys! They’ll guide the trip to camp, sharing stories of the rich western heritage, history and their real cowboy experiences in the area.
The solitude and beauty of the sandstone feels surreal as it changes from white to red, from craggy rimrock to sheer canyon walls. History echoes down the canyon, fully immersing you in the experience as we ride to camp. Keep an eye out for wildlife as we ride, as we often encounter bighorn sheep, deer, turkeys and other game.
We’ll meet our experienced packers at camp and sit down for a delicious and hearty cowboy dutch oven dinner while we relax and enjoy the falling darkness and stark starlit night.
Your camp will come furnished with tents for privacy, padded cots and the best cowboy amenities the industry has to offer; we’ll break camp after breakfast and live the true cowboy pack trip experience as we ride the final day with our packers and reliable string of packhorses.
We’ll wrap up this trip of a lifetime with a farewell dinner and leave with memories of the gorgeous weekend, your newfound friends and the connection with the horses that truly make the experience.
This tour is limited to 6-8 riders in order to keep the intimate feel of nature and truly provide a semi-private, attentive ride.

Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and long pants.

- There is a strict 220 lb. weight limit for horseback riding
- The strenuous nature of this activity makes it generally best for ages 13 and up.
