This more challenging version of Crimson Canyon tour takes you on an off-road UTV adventure to the mouth of Crimson Canyon and beyond.
Crimson Canyon Unlimited Hiking & UTV Adventure Tour
Embark on an exclusive adventure into the heart of the desert, beginning with an exhilarating off-road journey in a custom off-road vehicle. This ride takes you off the beaten path to a privately accessed Slot Canyon.
At the mouth of this stunning canyon, your guided hike begins. Towering red sandstone walls, soaring over 100 feet high, create a narrow passage, sometimes only 6-10 feet wide, through which you'll traverse. Led by a knowledgeable local expert, you'll delve into the rich history of the area and fascinating geological formations that sculpt this marvelous landscape.
This experience is designed for the adventurous spirit. Expect a challenging hike where explorers will navigate large boulders and make climbs of 8 to 10 feet. Your guide will be with you to ensure a safe and engaging journey. This tour is considered difficult but shaded areas provide great rest and hydration opportunities along the way. Regular breaks will be taken to ensure everyone can enjoy the experience comfortably.
This enhanced experience now features a loop route, allowing you to explore further into the canyon's depths and witness even more of its breathtaking beauty. The photo opportunities along the way are once in a lifetime.
Please note that during specific times of the year, particularly winter and late summer, the canyon may contain pools of water, occasionally reaching waist-deep. If these conditions are present, an alternative route will be taken, leading you to a second, equally captivating slot canyon. This ensures your comfort and safety while still providing an unforgettable experience.
