Leave the traveling to us and experience the best that Bryce Canyon has to offer, while being led by a local expert!
Bryce Canyon National Park has the largest collection of Hoodoos (Irregular Columns of Rock) just an hour away! Along the way, we will drive through Red Canyon, one of Utah’s most photographed places! Before entering the park, we will make a brief stop at a small local convenience store where guests will have a chance to purchase snacks/lunch, if desired.
Once we arrive at Bryce, we will begin the 1.2 mile hike, taking a break half way before returning to the shuttle and driving back to Orderville.
At East Zion Adventures, we strive to provide a personalized and unique experience for each of our guests. Our local guides have extensive knowledge and passion for Bryce Canyon National Park and will lead you on an unforgettable adventure.
The Hoodoos of Bryce Canyon
Bryce Canyon is known for its unique geological formations called Hoodoos. These tall, thin spires of rock are formed by the erosion of the soft limestone and sandstone layers in the park. Over millions of years, wind and water have sculpted these rocks into various shapes and sizes, creating a stunning landscape that can only be found in this part of the world.
On our Bryce Canyon guided hike, you will get up close and personal with these Hoodoos as we explore the trails and learn about their formation. Our local expert guide will share interesting facts and stories about the park, making this not just a scenic walk, but an educational experience as well.
Red Canyon Scenic Drive
As we make our way to Bryce Canyon, we will drive through Red Canyon, a lesser-known gem of Southern Utah. This scenic drive offers breathtaking views of red rock formations and towering cliffs, making it one of the most photographed areas in the state.
Our guide will point out interesting landmarks and share local knowledge about the area during this part of the journey. You can sit back and relax while taking in the stunning sights, knowing that you are in good hands with our experienced and knowledgeable guide.
