We dare say that fall is one of the best times to tackle Angels Landing, thanks to fewer park visitors, cooler, crisp air—and the vibrant colors of autumn that only enhance the already breathtaking views from the summit. As a reminder, if you’re planning to hike the chained section of Angels Landing, you’ll need to secure a permit. Make sure to plan ahead and apply for a permit.
