The Travelers’ Choice award, previously known as the Certificate of Excellence, honors top destinations, hotels, restaurants, and activities as rated by travelers from around the globe. Our home base, Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort, has also been a past recipient of this award in honor of the exceptional experience our family-owned resort strives to offer our guests.

“Best tour in UTAH!”

Wow wow wow!!! This tour was absolutely amazing! I was a bit nervous about doing it bc of the boulders but my guide John was AMAZING! His energy was absolutely amazing, made the whole tour 1000% better.

The canyon itself was magical! Loved every minute of it! And the best part was that I was with my best friends! A trip that I will never forget!

“Must Do Slot Canyon Adventure in East Zion”

Outstanding experience. This was our first time canyoneering and we loved it. This tour was fun and exciting from start to finish. Our guides, Nathan and Amber, took great care to ensure everyone was having a fantastic experience. Being in slot canyons was remarkable and the rappelling was exciting. This is a must do adventure.

Review of: Red Rock Slot Canyon

“Fun, safe way to see some backcountry”

Great afternoon with our 12, 10, and 8yo boys- perfect way to beat the heat and avoid the crowds at the park. Our guide, Brian, was fun and smart. He talked to us about different plants on the trail and different buildings on the way to the slot canyons. We enjoyed the cool air in the slot canyons, and the kids loved climbing all over the place.

Review of: White Sands Sunset Horseback Ride

“Absolutely Perfect”

My husband and I were in town for our first marriage anniversary and thought the White Sands Sunset Horseback Ride would be a perfect way to leave Zion. It was better than we could have imagined.

Amy was a lovely character, told us hilarious stories, and gave us a lot of great info about the landscape. We stopped at the peak of the mountain for a sunset view before heading down, seeing a few members of local wildlife on our way.

Cannot recommend East Zion Adventures and the horseback rides enough. Hope you’re lucky enough to get Amy as your guide!
