Once you get to the canyon mouth, the hike begins. Once inside the narrow, 100-foot high canyon walls, be prepared to scramble some large boulders and expect pools of water during certain times of year. Crimson Canyon is great for a family outing or anyone looking for an exciting but doable adventure.

Abandoned Mine (2 hours, all ages)
History buffs, this one’s for you. The Abandoned Mine hike takes you to a forgotten piece of Zion’s past, where you’ll explore an old mine site and learn about this historic operation. Slightly spooky, it’s a fun and educational hike for everyone, whether you’re a kid or just a kid at heart.

Sunset Guided Hike (2 hours, all ages)
You haven’t seen Zion until you’ve watched the sun set over it. This sunset guided hike takes you to an awesome vantage point where you can relax and watch the sky light up with blazing shades of orange, pink and purple.
