Paria River Packtrip (Overnight Horse Ride)
The trail is super remote, we almost never see any other people- so it really lends the “backcountry” vibe. This trail was a historic travel route for settlers from the page AZ side up to the north country near Bryce canyon, panguitch etc.
Throughout the ride the scenery just gets more spectacular starting in the sagebrush flats and narrowing as we enter the canyon.
We get to see some amazing color changes in the cliffs and sandstone, often see wildlife, and truly get to relax and enjoy nature.
This trip is NOT for anyone with mobility or severe health issues as we are so remote, and will be riding 25 miles in 2 days.
What To Bring:
Bring at least 2 Liters of water.
Wear sturdy hiking shoes.
In fall and winter months, be prepared for cold weather! Make sure you bring hats, gloves, coats, etc. to keep you warm while you enjoy the tour.
